If you’re serious about Marketing on the Internet then you should be putting up a number of sites which creates a massive on-line presence. You can have Blogs, Website, Landing Pages, Squeeze Pages and Sales Pages all on their own domains.

The biggest and most expensive problem people have is that every time you create a new site with a new address, you have to host it somewhere. The really expensive way is to get individual hosting for each site from companies like 1 & 1, Fasthost, Bluehost, Hostgator, or HostNine. Now all these companies are great but the point is that getting individual hosting is a really expensive way of doing it.

So what’s your alternative?
Some say you can go for a hosting solution using sub-domains, but these have issues and for most not technical people also tuns out to be difficult to run.

The solution

All of our students are encouraged to have massive presence on the internet, and that means having many sites. The solution we give them is to bite the bullet and go for a “Reseller Package” at one of the big hosting companies. such as “Hostgator

Click on the Hostgator link and go to the Reseller Option at the top of the page. You will see a package called “Aluminum” which cost just $24.95 per month. The great thing about this way of hosting your sites is that you only need a few site on her, say 5, to make it a worthwhile investment. If you think that one site could cost you between $5 – $10 if purchased individually. The real bonus about doing it this way is that on a “Reseller Account” like the “Aluminum” Package you can host 100′s of site taking the unit hosting cost per month down to only a few cents per month.

What does it take to become a successful Affiliate Marketer? What are the ingredients of an affiliate marketing success story? Is there a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory? All these questions play around in the minds of affiliate marketers who want to make it big in this business.

Although affiliate marketing is touted as one of the easiest and most effective ways to earn money online, it is not as easy as it sounds. The wise affiliate marketer plans every action and executes it the best way he can.

You must also maximize the potential to earn by utilizing the right tools necessary for a successful Affiliate Marketing business.

I have consulted some of the most successful affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top three necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.

Now don’t get me wrong, just having these tools in place isn’t the key to success on-line but if you’re just starting out then these are essential.

Important Tool #1: Your Own Website

The most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate Marketing is your own website. The first step in any successful affiliate marketing business is building a good, credible and professional looking website. Your website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts. Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on the links to the products and service you are promoting and make a purchase. Therefore, you must first concentrate your efforts in building a website or indeed websites that will cater to what your prospects need.

The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant and useful content. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful. Keep in mind that, in the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking. By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in building up a loyal consumer base.

You will also need to look at putting up a lot of sites over time. You must do this as cost effectively as possible and this is where a program like my “Lead Generation Success” may come in handy. In this program I speak about the “Abundance Marketing Model” which is all about getting many roads into your product or service offerings. Affiliate Marketing is just the same we need many ways for our potential client to find us.

Important Tool #2: Incentives

Competition is extremely tight in the internet world. You must always be one-step ahead of your rivals to ensure that you capture a significant share of your target market. Therefore, you must use every possible means to encourage people not only to visit your site but also to click and proceed to the websites of the products and services you are promoting.

Building an opt-in email list is one of the best ways to gather prospects. Offer a newsletter or an e-zine. Better yet, offer incentives to your prospects to encourage them to subscribe to your newsletters. You can present free softwares, access to exclusive services and other freebies that will be helpful to your prospects.

Important Tool #3: Link Popularity

The importance of driving highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be emphasized enough. The all-important web traffic is at the top of the list of the most important entities in the internet world. Attracting people to your site should be the first step you should carry out. Do everything to achieve a high search engine ranking. Link Popularity is one of the factors that search engines use to determine search engine rankings. Therefore, to enhance your link popularity, you must launch an aggressive reciprocal link campaign.

One of the best ways to do this – at no cost at all – is by submitting articles, with your website’s link at the resource box, to e-zines and free article sites. You will not only gain exposure, you will also have the opportunity to advertise for free, just include a link back to your site. The more sites you submit your articles to, the better your link popularity is. Make your articles original, relevant and useful so that more websites will pick it up and post it.

These are but three of the many tools that an affiliate marketer can use to maximize earning potential. The possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination, creativity, resourcefulness and determination. You can always explore other ideas and adapt other strategies, which you think might help you become a successful affiliate marketer.

Using Keywords In Page Titles for Increased SEO

Search Engine Optimisation is an essential art if you want to get free traffic to your site. It’s not however a dark art, it is simply a set of rules to follow when putting your pages together. One of those rules relates to the title tags within your page.

It is recommended to use keywords in page titles itself. This title tag is different from a Meta tag, but it’s worth considering it in relation to them. Whatever text one places in the title tag (between the <title> and </title> portions) will appear in the title bar of browsers when they view the web page.

Some browsers also append whatever you put in the title tag by adding their own name, as for example Microsoft’s Internet Explorer or OPERA. If you are using WordPress as your CMS (Content Management System) then you can use plugins such as “Platinum SEO Pack” or “All In One SEO”. These help you optimise every page or post individually.

The actual text you use in the title tag is one of the most important factors in how a search engine may decide to rank your web page. In addition, all major web crawlers will use the text of your title tag as the text they use for the title of your page in your listings.

If you have designed your website as a series of websites or linked pages and not just a single Home Page, you must bear in mind that each page of your website must be search engine optimized. The title of each page i.e. the keywords you use on that page and the phrases you use in the content will draw traffic to your site.

The unique combination of these words and phrases and content will draw customers using different search engine terms and techniques, so be sure you capture all the keywords and phrases you need for each product, service or information page.

The most common mistake made by small business owners when they first design their website is to place their business name or firm name in every title of every page. Actually most of your prospective customers do not bother to find out or even know the name of your firm until after they have looked at your site and decided it is worth book marking.

So, while you want your business name in the title of the home page, it is probably a waste of valuable keywords and space to put it in the title line of every page on your site. Why not consider putting keywords in the title so that your page will display closer to the top of the search engine listing.

Dedicating first three positions for keywords in title avoiding the stop words like ‘and’, ‘at’ and the like is crucial in search engine optimization.
